has spent the last 12 years working with biggest brands & agencies shaping strategies for online/ digital presence in Lithuania. Currently running the team of 18, Tomas has spent last 5 years focusing strongly on turning the potential of social media into a full-fledged participant of an overall media package. Amongst other things, Tomas is a head of digital communications course in Atomic Garden Vilnius.

Jason was an Independent Experience Design Strategist since early 2000s. He has consulted professionals and coached designers at companies like: Amex, eBay, Bupa, Legal & General, Tesco, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, EON, Samsung, Disney, as well as super successful startups like ROLI and Mind Candy. His expertise sits in a fold over of business, design, psychology and technology. Jasons focus now is on a mission to coach 1 billion people Design Thinking, enabling them to create Designed Companies, which in turn will create a better world for all of us.


Thomas Bothe (DE)

Thomas Bothe is former CEO and self-employed trainer with a focus on leadership communication and strategy. Often acting on behalf of consultant companies throughout Europe, his typical trainees are CEOs and management teams seeking to create internal coherence and agility. He is the author of "Create Trust In Your Leadership” and co-author of a recent book “Create Trust In Your Active Sales”. During the last 3 years he had the privilege to be Lumina Learning practitioner and to collaborate with Lumina Learning Baltic in training some 110 senior executives as well as top management teams of larger Baltic companies.


Olga Kotova (LV)

Olga Kotova is a Business Developer, passionate about empowering companies and individuals to achieve their goals and beyond. After more than a decade in corporate Olga has pursued a career of an entrepreneur and today she is devoting 50% of her time to Baltic Commercial Aviation Training, company that specializes in professional pilot training and aviation consulting for clients in EU and CIS countries. Another 50% she is devoting to consulting, coaching and mentoring of individuals and enterprises in the area of management, leadership and business development.


Antonio Fernandez (USA)

Antonio Fernandez, aka King Tone, is the former leader of The Latin Kings, the largest Hispanic street gang in the U.S. Antonio was the catalyst in transforming The Latin Kings from an organised crime syndicate into a political movement, fighting for social justice on behalf of suppressed Latin American communities. Antonio is an expert in leadership, hustle, management, and activism and he uses his life story as both a cautionary tale and a message about self-transformation. His company GROW UP GROW OUT helps young people, including prison inmates, to find new paths toward social and personal growth and permanent change.


Gundars Bērziņš (LV)

Gundars Berzins is an associated professor and the dean of Faculty of Business, management and economics of the University of Latvia (UL). He has received a doctor’s degree in management science and has participated in many projects as a leading researcher, he is also an author of international scientific publications. Mr. Berzins is a Member of the board at SSE Riga Foundation and UL student Business incubator. His passion is significance of strategy and strategic thinking in business. He reads lectures on Management theory, Enterprise strategy and policy management, and Strategic and operational planning.


Jenny Robinson (UK)

Jenny Robinson is a serial entrepreneur, leadership scholar and communications expert. She started her first business at 18 years old and it is still in business and profitable. Today she runs three UK based-organisations: one an alpaca farm; a consulting business; and a social enterprise for those struggling with mental and emotional difficulties. Her work draws on Organizational Psychology, Leadership and Mindfulness.


Dana Reizniece Ozola (LV)

Dana Reizniece Ozola is a chess player and a politician. Currently is the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Latvia, has been the Minister of Economics and the Member of Parliament. She has been a chess player since school years, at age of 15 she became the Latvia’s Champion of chess and then three times in a row repeated the successful results. She has won the European Chess Campion title in the group of U18 and the 2nd place at the World Championships. She is the grand master of the chess and keeps playing it while being active in politics.


Kaspars Vanags (LV)

Kaspars Vanags is an art curator and writer. In collaboration with other likeminded young cultural practitioners he founded the group “Open” in 1994 to organize interdisciplinary art events mixing visual arts, electronic music, new media art and literature. He curated projects in which art played a critical role as a social platform on which to challenge or create alternatives to consumerist culture. Since 2015 he has been the Head of Art Programmes at the ABLV Charitable Foundation, and is currently working on the conceptual guidelines for the future Latvian Museum of Contemporary Art, which is due to open in 2021.


Orsolya Ihasz (UK)

Orsolya Ihasz is an entrepreneurship education specialist, an experienced facilitator in the leadership, co-creation and system thinking space for social change. Orsi has actively contributed to the academic development of various educational programmes in the last 10 years working for the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School. She has also been involved in setting up Cambridge Social Ventures with the focus on supporting social ventures and innovation on a global scale. In addition, she built relations with corporates such as Microsoft UK, American Express, Evonik, Airbus and the public sector to create cross-departmental collaboration to improve productivity and harness innovation.



The „Mi:t&links”. Baltic Communication Awards 2017” will cover 15 categories. In 14 categories there will be 4 short-listed nominees. Jurgita Ribinskaite-Glatzer

has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector at both national and international levels. Her current position is the Lithuanian Country Manager for Reach for Change. Jurgita is also a partner in Geri Norai LT, a NGO which supports the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Lithuania and initiates partnerships between NGOs and businesses.

Worked as a leading PR specialist at transnational headquarters for NGO''s. His expertise came from four years spent at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University as a Head of Communications.

Works at SEB as a communication manager responsible for external and internal communication and corporate sustainability. Before was the head of communications at Estonian Ministry of Justice. is in charge of communication at the Tallinn-based NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence, a knowledge hub, think tank and training facility. As a consultant and trainer, Liisa had worked across sectors and continents.


Lolita Stasane / LV

has more than 20 years of experience in communications and media and almost 15 years of academic experience. Now she is Retail Communication Area Manager at Swedbank Latvia and a lecturer at University of Latvia. Lolita is a member of Baltic Association for Media Research and Latvian Association of Public Relations Professionals since 2005.


Aune Past / EE

is called “Mother of Estonian PR” by media. She does not agree with this saying: “I am old, but not so old”. Aune Past is founder president of Estonian PR Association. Long years she was lecturing in Tartu University. Her scientific research is about imago and reputation formation process. Today she runs her communication company “Past and Partners” and is evangelist of start-up company “Brandlyse”.

has over 10 years’ experience in the Middle East media landscape and has worked senior roles across the industry’s triumvirate of agency, press and client-side businesses. is Head of Public Relations BA program at Tallinn University. She has taught PR and communication courses for both Bachelor and Master level students for more than ten years and advised many BA theses over the years. Kristel has worked at the PR field mostly in public sector. Currently, in addition to the academic work she is Media Advisor to the Estonian Labour Inspectorate.

She holds a PhD in communication studies from the University of Antwerp and is working at Vidzeme'' University of Applied Sciences (assistant professor) and at “RISEBA” University of Business, Arts and Technology. Solvita works on several projects on media literacy, intercultural communication and strategic political communication.
